Class Description:
This course will cover basic Civics and Geography standards while challenging your critical thinking skills as you learn about the people, culture, economies, governments, and physical aspects of the regions of our world.You will also learn about your civic duties as well as the operations and functions of your American Democratic Government. You will learn to read and interpret maps, charts, graphs, and tables for important social and economic information as it pertains to the regions studied as well as read, write and discuss current issues and affairs nationally and globally.
How to use this site:
This site will be updated weekly to ensure that you have access to lessons and handouts as soon as possible. If you click on the calender tab on the left side of the page you will have access to a monthly calender that will be constantly updated to keep you informed of test days and due dates. The Daily Work tab will keep you up to date on powerpoint presentations you may have missed and or assignments that need to be completed. On this main page you will notice a link that reads, "Syllabus" this is a link that will give you a printable version of my class rules and expectations and any policy information. In closing, please check out the About me tab, it will list my planning time, days I'm availible for conferences as well as my e-mail address for quick response.
